Life is...

Dawn leads to day,
And here lies a path,
With one choice,
To move forward?
Or to stay back?

My chest tense,
My mind in dismay,
Which path will lead me astray?

At the chaos of living,
With it's flux and it's flow,
The bitterness and the sweet,
A curiosity for sight,
Questions streaming from my vocal pipe,
No answers can or will suffice,
Opaque is life.
So wandering lost in this black abyss.
Till paranoia decays all of which I consist.

Emotions fleet from week to week
Like raindrops,
Tears stream to my feet.
Mon dieu,
How meek! How weak!
Exasperated & overwhelmed,
Cursed
            with      
                      choice,
Exasperated & overwhelmed
In the cage of time.

A better way can life's chaos be lived?
So strange, so wild,
So weird this world.
Only the dead can see clear from afar,
The cyclical circus show,
In which many parts
I convey each role,
In hope each character,
Unravels secrets of my soul.
Unravelling,
Unravelling,
Unravelling continuous confusion.
And like a booth on the highway,
It takes it's tole.

When dawn turns to dusk,
The moon,
Once a sacred guiding light,
Till even the candle flame
No more can shine bright.
And what then?
What then has been left of my life?

Memories,
Now mundane,
Lost in the wind.
Meaningful objects,
In foreign hands are meaningless
Broken nostalgia,
Tossed into the bin

All I was,
Were moments of sin.

The sublime, the divine,
Emotions of which,
Few moments do consist.
Yet,
Afraid to forget,
Writers of the past have written to persist.
 Expecting for more,
It only suffers to exist.
For,
Interwoven into life's chaos is the,
Surprise of this kiss,
Each moment,
A new & different kind of,
bliss.

Is faith a concept,
A coping mechanism
Constructed to deceive us?
