Before I Move Off - Mount Kimbie

Her glassy red pumps  g l i d e  across the cool grey stone pedestrian path.
Her motion and movement display her direction and strength.

Yet,
the power of nostalgia sways her glance,
a flashback of a once sweet but now bitter romance. That longing still lingers, it lingers in her eyes.

A plastic bag floats amongst the hauntingly reflective skyscrapers.
A representation of how empty and disposable we are.

Their austere strict parallel lines of black, bordering the icy glass exterior, reflecting the dismal grey sky.  An emblem of priority for height and mass production. Skyscrapers of contemporary culture lack dimension, and visual tension.

A yearning and youthful girl sits sulking on a stone bench. Mentally manufacturing illusive hypothetical dreams of a prince, who will value her spirit and soul.
Yet,
all she attracts are the lonely, regretful old men, because with their age comes wisdom, and they seek the site of this young girl, to show her praise, a chance to right their wrongs from happier days.

And between the veil of velvet grey clouds,
                                                                                       lies
                                                                                                               colour
